CoPub is a text mining tool developed within the Computational Drug Discovery (CDD) group, Centre for Molecular and Biomolecular Informatics (CMBI), Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, Nijmegen, The Netherlands in collaboration with SARA, Computing and Network Services, Amsterdam, The Netherlands and with support of the Netherlands Bioinformatics Centre NBIC.

CoPub 5.0 is the latest version of the CoPub tool and has a complete new interface, new technology added and new thesauri! The scope of CoPub 5.0 is broader than the previous CoPub. CoPub 5.0 has a new user interface and has CoPub Discovery technology incorporated, to detect new hidden relations. In CoPub 5.0 the CoPub technology can be accessed via three modes which makes it possible to use it in a very dynamic manner by easily switching between multiple analysis modes, and makes it very suitable to answer a variety of biological questions.

Copub is also accessible via a remote api using web services, which make it possible to embed the CoPub functionality into bioinformatics workflows.
